Denis Ducharme was born and raised in a creative and musical family environment in Montreal's west end, Denis Ducharme is a song-writer with an upbeat message, positive vibrations.

From a very early age, Denis Ducharme was surrounded by music, his dad played the guitar and sang, his mother listened to jazz standards while his older sisters and brother listened to R&B, classic rock, reggae and funk.

He continued to develop his writing skills while playing keyboards in several different cover bands throughout college and university before auditioning for an established original soul-rock band called '' Red Tape '' .

He became lead singer and was the driving force behind the band's new direction, reflected by a name change to « The Cherry Pickers ». What you are about to hear is the culmination of countless gigs, dozens of demos and a life time of creative influences.
